Kacang Pool

I've been on holiday in Singapore and having a very nice time. Eating featured prominently in the list of things I have been doing. Here is something which I only heard about recently, and which I tried for the first time yesterday.


Kacang Pool is the Malay version of Foul Medames, the Egyptian dish of broad beans. The beans are served with raw chopped onions, chopped green chilli, chopped tomatoes, and a fried egg, with bread on the side. Most agreeable.
