A snippet from Vienna

I'm in Vienna attending a radiology conference, so this is just a very brief post with some pictures from an exhibition I managed to catch on its final day at the Leopold Museum. Entitled "Fleeting Beauty", it's an exhibition of 1920s tobacco-related art and graphics from the collection of the Austrian Tobacco Monopoly. I'm a non-smoker but it made me almost want to take up smoking. Interestingly, the words 'tobacco', 'smoking', 'cigarette' and 'cigar' are nowhere to be found in the poster. Even the company name, JTI, gives no clue to the uninitiated (it used to be called 'Austria Tabak'). Perhaps it's because the law forbids the promotion of smoking.
